6th Annual Community Arts Show 2012
The 6th Annual Community Arts Show is coming in February and you, the community, are invited to participate. This year we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Nicola Valley Community Arts Council.
The show will begin February 10th and run through March 17th. Deadline for submitting work will be 6pm Thursday February 9.
In the past we have shown modeling, needlework, weaving, carving, fly-tying, woodworking, sculpting, drawing, and painting. If you have projects where you create what you feel is art, and is worth sharing, then show it at the community arts show. We are limited by the space we have, but we will attempt to find a spot for all submitted and accepted work. Work can be for sale.
There will be prizes awarded to Best of Show, Viewer’s Choice, and Kids under 16. For more information, stop by during gallery hours. The gallery is located in the Olde Courthouse Arts Centre at 1840 Nicola Avenue, Merritt. Admittance is always free. The gallery is owned and operated by the Nicola Valley Community Arts Council.
